One of the world's most notorious cities, Las Vegas is a playground for nearly every walk of life. Most cities' hotels are built around major attractions; Las Vegas' hotels are the attraction, offering everything from circus acts and museum exhibits to haute couture shopping and, of course, casinos. Aside from the vast options for entertainment on The Strip and Downtown's Fremont Street, Las Vegas has also emerged as a gateway to other famous U.S. attractions such as the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. Nowhere else offers so many options in such a small area. And, with the city constantly reinventing itself, if you haven't been to Vegas lately, then you simply haven't been to Las Vegas.
