IMPORTANT HOTEL CLOSURE INFORMATION
The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel suffered structural damage in the October 15, 2006 earthquake and more damage has occurred
due to the 5.0 tremor on November 23, 2006, which has lead to the closure of Mauna Kea Beach Hotel for extensive renovations.
No definite date has been given at this time as to the completion of renovations.
RESTAURANT CLOSURE
The Pavilion at Manta Ray Point at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel will be closed from August 28th through September 30th,
2006, for renovations.
Breakfast and dinner will be served in the Garden Room (adjacent to the Pavilion) or out on the Copper Bar Terrace.
Both the Garden Room and the Copper Bar Terrace have extensive views looking out over Kaunao'a Bay and should be delightful
alternative venues to the Pavilion. |
